About Ta Yoga

We are all on a journey. I aim to create and hold space for you to be yourself, feel empowered and take what you need from each and every class.

Meet Ashley, Founder of Ta Yoga

Ashley began her movement journey at the age of 3. Coming from a dance background, the beautiful postures yoga offered felt like coming home. What started in 2008 as a time slot to meet a PE credit in college, yoga blossomed into a lifelong passion and pursuit. With over 10 years of experience practicing yoga, Ashley decided to transform her practice into something more. She completed her 200 hour certification with the Yoga Alliance through Body Bliss Yoga and Angie Cherry in 2019.

Aside from yoga, Ashley and her husband reside in the Pacific Northwest with their two dogs and welcomed their first baby in October of 2019. When she’s not in the studio or teaching, you can find her curled up reading an epic fantasy series.

Ta Yoga has something for everyone

Ashley teaches a wide variety of styles of yoga which cater to anyone across the physical spectrum and experience level.

Vinyasana

An active, flowy class centered around a theme. You’ll have a complete experience filled with some sweat, deep stretches and relaxation. Come make beautiful shapes! All levels welcome.

Yin

A more passive style where one holds intense stretches for longer periods of time to allow the connective tissues of the body to loosen. Come find your edge in a Yin class. All levels welcome.

Restorative

Come to this class if you need to be nurtured. With plenty of props, optional gentle touch and aroma therapy every practitioner leaves class cared for and 100% relaxed.

Prenatal

Calling all expecting mamas! Come participate in a specially crafted practice suitable for growing bumps and increased flexibility. Your body and baby will thank you after class!

Power Vinyasa

Come prepared to sweat and challenge yourself. This style incorporates traditional yoga with interval training. Recommended for Intermediate-Advanced levels.

VinYin

A combination class of Vinyasa and Yin styles. Best of both worlds!
